Summer is upon us and Strawberry Plains is excited to host our third annual Junior Naturalist & Ecology Camp, June 5th-9th, from 9 am – 3 pm. Each day we will cover different naturalist topics including hands-on activities such as water quality sampling, plant and bird identification, wildlife tracking and sign, and much more. The camps activities are based on the Mississippi and Tennessee state frameworks for Math and Science. Camp activities foster a “hands on” approach to learning, and prepare them for the upcoming school year. This encourages students to become excited about nature and collecting data.

The camp is open to 9-12 year old's, though we can make exceptions for siblings close in age. The cost is $100, though scholarships are available through Wild Birds Unlimited. Students will be provided a mid-morning snack and we ask they are sent with a sack lunch. More details are included in the attached registration form at the link below. Should your children be unable to attend all five days, we can work out a separate cost per day.

Spaces are limited and payment is due at time of registration. Please fill out the downloadable registration form below and email or mail to Mitch Robinson at mrrobinson@audubon.org. Call 662-252-1155 with any questions, and we accept credit card payments over the phone.
